چکیده

Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the phytochemical contents and antioxidant activity Helianthemum lippii (L.) Dum.Cours. crude extract. Methods: For preliminary analysis, standard procedures were applied, while identification quantification individual phenolic compounds performed by HPLC analysis. Folin–Ciocalteu method was used evaluate total acid content plant extracts, flavonoid determined using aluminum chloride colorimetric assay. FTIR spectroscopy examine chemical makeup organic extracts. activities assessed 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl reducing power assays. Results: Chemical analysis revealed presence numerous secondary metabolites, such as polyphenols, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, anthocyanins, cardiac glycosides, leuco anthocyanins steroids, terpenoids, alkaloids, mucilage. we obtained 65 peaks identified 6 major elements bioactive compounds. concentration polyphenols ?avonoids varied respectively 183.12±2.84 mg gallic eq/g dry wt 72.00±1.03 quercetin /mg. general condensed tannin hydrolyzable expressed in terms catechin equivalent (5.88±1.58 Ca extract) (2.818±0.138 mgTA wt) respectively. investigation indicated several characteristic peak values extract with diverse functional groups amide, alcohol, phenol groups. Concerning activity, found that has high inhibitory percentages IC50 3.085±0.001 for DPPH 1.724±0.021 reduction (µg/mL). Conclusion: Our proved aqueous H very rich metabolites; addition, it a tremendous anti-oxidant capacity, which leads us forward introduce medical use.

Phytochemical Investigation of Leontice leontopetalum L. subsp. ewersmannii with Antioxidant and Anticholinesterase Activities

Abstract: Two known quinolizidine alkaloids, lupanine and leontiformidine, were isolated from the tubers of L. leontopetalum subsp. ewersmannii. Lupanine having the highest inhibition of lipid peroxidation at 100 μg/mL among the tested samples indicated almost the same ABTS cation radical scavenging activity with BHT, αtocopherol and (+)-catechin at the same concentration. Lupanine and the alka...
